Góðan daginn gott fólk!
By the time you read this, I will be on my way to Thailand, where I plan to spend a month doing … well, pretty much the same thing I did last year, though with a bit more travelling. This time I am meeting my cousin Signý who lives in Canada; we’re going to team up in Bangkok and “do Thailand” together.
I have no doubt you will find ways to source other Iceland content while I am gone. 😁
I’ve paused the Substack billing, meaning that those of you who are paid subscribers will not be charged while I am on hiatus, and those of you who paid for annual subscriptions will have your subscription extended to equate the length of time I am away. 🫶
If I feel so moved, I may sit down and hammer out a post or two on my travels, but since I don’t want to feel pressured I decided to put the subscriptions on pause (‘cause we all need a bit of decompression now and then, no?).
Since “Letter from Iceland” would sound a bit silly coming from Thailand, I’ll likely post on my other Substack if I have something très, très important to share.
In any event, you’ll likely find me documenting my trip on Instagram and Facebook, though more likely posting stories than feed posts.
Alright then! Have a fabulous few weeks friends, see you at Easter or thereabouts.
If you get super antsy while I’m away, might I suggest a gander at one of my books? They are available via your nearest Amazon marketplace, and also on my website.

Hope you and your cousin will have an amazing trip together.😊
Have a very nice trip 🥰
