Thanks for this. I'm debating whether or not to send this to a younger woman I know in Oregon who is planning a move to Iceland next year. She's got such high hopes and expectations that this will be the change she needs to be happier. I hate to burst her bubble, and she probably wouldn't listen to me anyway, but I do worry about her.
Your experience were indeed intense. They say that the hotter the fire, the stronger the steel. I think everyone walks thru some fire, you just have such a beautiful way of holding your fire in the palm of your hand and feeling all that it represents. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful text- I wish one could know beforehand when the right time has come…but it is so essential that one does not make the move without having interrogated oneself thoroughly. I would personally be happy with a partial presence there. Not sure if this could work out 🤷🏼♂️ or how.
